Aerotek is seeking a contract-to-hire Mechanical Assembler for its Warrington, PA site. The role involves precision mechanical and electronic assembly, reading engineering prints, and handling chemicals safely.

Pay: $23-25/hr (based on experience)
Shift: 7am-330pm (Mon-Friday)
Perform high-precision mechanical assembly work with tight tolerances, following detailed engineering prints and work instructions.
Carry out mechanical and electronic assembly tasks using appropriate hand tools and equipment.
Handle and process precious metal wire, including cleaning, winding, and sealing, with great care and accuracy.
Properly handle chemicals used in the manufacturing process in accordance with safety and procedural guidelines.
Inspect and verify the quality of custom components under a microscope, ensuring they meet all specifications and standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-oriented work area at all times.
Provide general support for a wide variety of activities related to ongoing production, special projects, and the introduction of new products.
Document work performed as required, including recording measurements, inspection results, and production data.
Mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Ability to read and work from engineering prints and technical drawings.
Hands-on experience performing high-precision assembly with tight tolerances.
Experience with mechanical assembly and electronic assembly using hand tools.
Ability to follow work instructions accurately and efficiently.
Experience in high-precision assembly with excellent manual dexterity.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to use a microscope for inspection and assembly tasks.
Comfort working with chemicals used in manufacturing processes, following safety procedures.
Experience working in optics or precision manufacturing environments.
Experience as a technician or assembler in mechanical or electronic assembly roles.
Familiarity with quality assurance and inspection practices in a production setting.
Ability to maintain organization and cleanliness in a highly regulated environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to support special projects and new product introductions.
Willingness to learn new processes and technologies as production needs evolve.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warrington, PA.
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
