Aerotek is seeking an Assembler in Camarillo, CA for a contract-to-hire role. You will measure, cut and assemble tubing and components in a cleanroom, following detailed instructions and drawings to meet strict quality standards.

You will operate manual and automated equipment, document work and adhere to GMP guidelines while working in a small-team setting. This onsite role emphasizes precision, cleanliness, and timely production tasks.

Job Description

The Assembler plays a key role in producing high-quality components and assemblies used in critical biotech applications. This position focuses on precise measurement, cutting, positioning, and assembly of tubing and related components in a cleanroom environment, following detailed work instructions, drawings, and product specifications. The role requires careful handling of equipment, adherence to standards and documentation requirements, and consistent attention to cleanliness and packaging quality.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, position, and align tubing and components to prepare them for assembly according to product specifications.
• Operate production equipment such as cable guns, tubing spreaders, bag sealers, tubing cutters, and manual cutting devices in a safe and efficient manner.
• Read and interpret instructions, work instructions, and drawings to assemble products to the correct specifications and quality standards.
• Determine and follow the proper sequence of assembly steps to ensure efficient and accurate completion of work.
• Clean components and finished assemblies to meet cleanliness and quality requirements.
• Package finished products according to established standards and/or drawing instructions.
• Work consistently in a cleanroom environment, following all cleanroom protocols, gowning procedures, and cleanliness requirements.
• Document work performed as required, ensuring that all assembly and packaging activities meet documented requirements.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines where applicable, and support a compliant and controlled manufacturing process.
• Collaborate with team members in small groups (typically 2–4 people) to complete daily production tasks.
• Perform repetitive tasks throughout the day as needed while maintaining focus on quality and efficiency.
• Participate in weekly updates and communication provided by supervision to stay informed about production priorities and expectations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Camarillo, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
