Job summary

Manpower, Inc. in Fort Scott, KS is seeking an Assembler to join a leading manufacturer of laboratory equipment. You will perform non-repetitive assembly according to blueprint specifications, read engineering drawings and wiring schematics, and troubleshoot with some assistance while ensuring quality.

The shift is Mon-Thu, 5:30 AM to 3:30 PM with overtime on Friday. We offer a supportive team environment and opportunities to develop skills in electrical and mechanical assembly, with weekends

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of industrial assembly experience.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of product assembly, blueprints, and schematics.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and familiarity with hand tools and wiring.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-repetitive assembly of laboratory equipment according to blueprint specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring schematics, and work instructions.
• Troubleshoot and repair assembly issues with some assistance.
• Select appropriate tools, materials, and equipment for assembly tasks.

As an Assembler, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the production of high-quality laboratory products. Pay Range: $17

Shift: Monday-Thursday, 5:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Day Shift, Overtime on Friday
