Job summary

Manpower, Inc. in Fort Scott, KS is seeking an Assembler to join a leading manufacturer of laboratory equipment. You will perform non-repetitive assembly according to blueprint specifications, read engineering drawings and wiring schematics, and troubleshoot with some assistance while ensuring quality.

The shift is Mon-Thu, 5:30 AM to 3:30 PM with overtime on Friday. We offer a supportive team environment and opportunities to develop skills in electrical and mechanical assembly, with weekends

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of industrial assembly experience.
High School diploma or GED.
Knowledge of product assembly, blueprints, and schematics.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong hand-eye coordination and familiarity with hand tools and wiring.

Responsibilities

Perform non-repetitive assembly of laboratory equipment according to blueprint specifications.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring schematics, and work instructions.
Troubleshoot and repair assembly issues with some assistance.
Select appropriate tools, materials, and equipment for assembly tasks.
Ensure assembled products meet quality and performance standards.
