Job summary

Altec Duluth location is hiring for a hands-on assembly and installation role. You will prepare, install and test vehicle components, reading drawings and following APS guidelines.

Responsibilities include using basic hand tools, maintaining tools and safety policies, and cross-training across production areas. A strong focus on quality and teamwork is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to read, write, and comprehend.
• Ability to read tape measures, blueprints and schematics.
• Basic computer usage knowledge.
• High school diploma or GED required.

• Install aerial device vehicle components and accessories
• Read production drawings and work orders to understand customer requirements

• Move to other work areas to support production needs (cross train)
• Support production teams through training
• Follow established safety, environmental and quality policies
• Maintain work area, shop tools, and equipment

Purpose Of Position:

To prepare, assemble and install vehicle components to required specifications for Mechanical, Hydraulic, Electrical, Unit and Finish departments .

Pay Transparency

Pay range: $21.42/hour - $23.73/hour. We are committed to fair and competitive pay for all associates based on their experience, education, and qualifications.

Should the selected candidate meet the qualifications of a more experienced level in the career path, the job level may be adjusted.
