Job summary

Regis offers a Stylist-in-Training position in a 90-day program designed to onboard an unlicensed individual into the salon environment. You will learn the business, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate effectively with management, customers and co-workers.

As you progress, eligibility for promotion to a licensed stylist depends on obtaining the required state license and demonstrating Regis values of honesty, accountability, integrity, and respect.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited cosmetology school and obtain the necessary license within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work in a dynamic salon environment.
• Strong time management, judgment and multitasking abilities.
• Well-developed interpersonal communication with customers, co-workers and management.
• Computer knowledge including POS systems and data entry.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Market and promote services and products; contribute to sales and client satisfaction.
• Provide exceptional customer service and greet customers by name.
• Assist with stock, store upkeep and daily salon operations.
• Handle POS transactions and maintain accurate cash handling.
• Attend mandatory meetings, training, and comply with company policies.
