Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. in Anchorage, AK is seeking an Assistant Manager in Training and Assistant Manager to lead sales, merchandising and operations while upholding our mission to create the most enjoyable shopping experience for our guests.

You will work with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to recruit and develop Teammates, train staff, manage store performance, and ensure outstanding guest service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related retail experience.
• Ability to travel and cover other stores within district.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude, and is consistently prepared to provide legendary service to each Guest
• Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise
• Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on Guest needs and desires
• Lead by example with a high level of showmanship, excellent customer service and attentiveness
• Assist Store Manager in Recruitment of all store staffing needs
• Provide feedback to Store Manager and Leadership Team regarding merchandise handling concerns
