Qualifications

• Two+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Experience in a retail grocery store is strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Ability to recruit and staff effectively.
• Strong cash handling, deposits and cashier accountability.
• Proficient in communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Support store merchandising and stocking per guidelines.
• Assist with inventory, damages, markdowns, and reporting.
• Help manage in-stock targets through ordering practices.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Support opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure funds are deposited securely.
• Maintain cash control and security practices.
• Keep store clean and safe.
• Assist in operating in the store manager's absence.
• Review operating statements to identify trends and opportunities.
• Complete paperwork and documentation on time.
