Qualifications

• Candidates should be able to read and interpret documents and safety instructions.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations and percentages.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures, cashier accountability, and deposit controls.
• Experience with IBM POS systems and generating reports.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Familiar with safety and cash control policies (deposits, keys, secure areas).
• Experience recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and coaching staff.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; detail-oriented and organized.
• Spanish bilingual abilities may be preferred in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and stock presentation according to store guidelines.
• Help manage inventory, perform damages, markdowns, and cycle counts.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide customer service leadership and model company policies.
• Participate in opening/closing procedures and store operations.
• Help ensure cash handling integrity and security practices.
• Maintain clean, safe store environment and proper paperwork.
