Job summary

Walgreens is offering an accelerated development program to prepare you for a Store Manager role in the United States. You will learn end-to-end store operations for both front-end and pharmacy, under the Store Manager and District Manager guidance, while completing trainings and rotations across nearby stores.

The program includes classroom, online, and on-the-job training, certifications, and development plans to demonstrate readiness for permanent assignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or HS diploma with 5 years retail management experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets within the same hiring Area.

Responsibilities

• Oversees store operation (front-end and pharmacy) under Store Manager.
• Shadows Store Manager, gains experience, assists in planning and performance conversations.
• Learns compliance SOPs across front-end and pharmacy; gains knowledge of systems.
• Leads customer experience improvements and supports community events.

Education

Bachelor’s degree + 3 years retail management or HS diploma/GED + 5 years retail management
