New Creations Child Care & Learning Center is offering a Director-in-Training Leadership Program in Lakeville. This role leads with hands-on training, mentorship, and development to prepare you for a Site Director position.

You will grow through structured experiences across operations, family engagement, and staff leadership. The program emphasizes DCYF compliance, family communication, enrollment growth, and staff development, with a plan to place you as a Site Director in one of our locations

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and Associates Degree in a related field is required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Must be Teacher qualified under DCYF Rule 3 Standards. Official transcripts of all post-secondary work required.
• Two to three years of experience as a Lead Teacher or two to three years of leadership experience in another career field preferred.
• State DHS background check and fingerprints shall determine that the applicant has not been convicted of a felony and has no criminal record that would render the person unsuitable.
• Certification in Adult and Pediatric First Aid & CPR completed within 30 days of employment.
• All DCYF training will be completed on day 1 during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Lead classroom operations and ensure licensing compliance.
• Support curriculum planning and implementation with a focus on quality and licensing standards.
• Coach and develop teachers and staff to build strong teams.
• Manage onboarding, staffing patterns, and payroll tasks.
• Engage families with exceptional communication and service.
• Learn scheduling, enrollment, and administrative processes in the center.
