Child Development Schools is hiring for a Director-in-Training in the United States. This role offers hands-on, 3-month training including recruitment, budgeting, marketing, and curriculum leadership to grow into a School Director role.

The program emphasizes teamwork, family engagement, and ensuring safety and quality across centers. Eligible candidates will have 1–3 years in ECE leadership and relevant degrees, with state licensing as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of leadership or management experience in early childhood education.
• CDA, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• State certification or licensing as required by your state.
• Strong communication with kids, families, and staff.
• Ability to juggle schedules and stay organized.
• Flexible, hands-on, and ready to jump in wherever needed.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on training in hiring, team-building, budgeting, marketing, and curriculum.
• Lead recruitment, training, and support staff while ensuring state compliance.
• Supervise and inspire the team, manage schedules and substitutes.
• Build warm connections with families and staff.
• Host informative tours for new families.
• Maintain a safe, clean school environment.
• Handle administrative tasks (billing, payroll, records) with precision.
• Contribute to classroom activities as needed.

Requirements

Who We're Looking For:

• A leader with 1--3 years of experience in early childhood education or a similar leadership role
• Someone with a CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree (preferred) in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Certified or licensed as required by your state -- you know the drill!
• A communication champ with a heart for kids, families, and staff
• A multitasking master who can juggle schedules, tasks, and surprises with grace
