Job summary

Sheehy Auto Stores is seeking an entry-level Service Advisor Apprentice to join our team. This role focuses on greeting customers, listening to needs, and partnering with service techs to ensure satisfaction.

As an apprentice, you will learn how to estimate costs, present services, and manage customer communications. The position offers training, a clear path to advancement, and a supportive work environment within our multi-location dealership.

Qualifications

• Strong customer communication skills both in-person and on the phone.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dealership environment with limited supervision.
• Authorized to work in the USA and hold a valid driver's license.
• Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds or similar DMS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet service department customers promptly and courteously.
• Listen to customer needs and articulate repair requirements to technicians.
• Present recommended and additional services with high integrity and low pressure.
• Provide accurate estimates of repair and maintenance costs.
• Follow dealership policies on customer vehicles and care.
• Keep customers informed on repair progress and status.
• Promote and manage extended warranties when appropriate.
• Inspect repair quality and ensure completion of work.
• Notify customers when vehicles are ready for pickup.
• Explain repairs and costs clearly to customers.
• Address customer concerns and communicate potential issues to the Service Manager.
• Maintain CSI scores per dealership standards.
