Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and related business applications.

Responsibilities

• Understands and applies business math to manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Assists in production activities to gain a comprehensive understanding of operational procedures.
• Develops knowledge of UFPI-utilized business systems, applications, and sales tools.
• Enters orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepares detailed reports as required by supervisors and management.
• Uses MS Office tools (Teams and Outlook) to manage time, communication and tasks.
• Develops understanding of company products, procedures, and policies related to sales.
• Communicates effectively with all levels and the public in writing and speech.
• Builds and maintains strong customer relationships.
• Assists in customer service activities and resolves inquiries promptly.
• Manages multiple tasks, sets priorities, and meets deadlines.
• Plans and executes meetings with necessary materials and attendees.
• Understands purchasing, shipping, and receiving processes.
• Gains knowledge of the sales cycle and process.
• Travels with Account Managers to learn industry terms and support sales activities.
• Travels to other facilities for best practice training.
