Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic knowledge in a real-world store setting. You will train under a preceptor, support the pharmacy team, and gain exposure to store operations, patient counseling, and medication dispensing processes.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning, adherence to SOPs, and compassionate patient care while developing skills for advancement toward pharmacist responsibilities. This is a part-time opportunity with benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in or accepted to an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be pursuing intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Attend regularly with the pharmacy team, including nights and weekends.
• Assist in pharmacy operations to ensure prescriptions are filled accurately and safely.
• Demonstrate empathy and patient-centered service to ensure positive patient experiences.
• Assist with immunizations and other pharmacy services as permitted by state laws.
• Learn and apply SOPs while working under a licensed pharmacist supervision.
