Qualifications

• College degree or work experience providing transferable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with sales activities designed to acquire new consumer households or cross-sell.
• Must be able to analyze credit and financial information.
• Professional representation of Fifth Third Bank in appearance and communication.
• S.A.F.E. Act registration required at employment through NMLS.

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales to build a profile and identify current and future financial needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail products/services and recommend solutions using our value proposition.
• Set appointments for periodic financial reviews using approved tools.
• Primarily focus on cross-selling to existing customers and outside sales activities.
• Establish strong connections with Business Partners to refer customers for holistic solutions.
• Meet/exceed customer experience and production goals and drive revenue growth.
• Provide guidance to CSRs on sales and referral processes.
• Promote customer satisfaction with a professional demeanor.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow policy and procedures.
• Adhere to risk management and policy standards; protect against fraud.
• Participate in the consumer loan and bankcard process from application to closing.
• Assist in opening/closing the Financial Center or Bank Mart as directed.
• Stay updated on Retail procedures to mitigate risk.
