Legend Homes / Academy Development in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Assistant Development Manager to support the Project Manager in day-to-day land development tasks, including due diligence on acquisitions, budget tracking, field observations, and coordinating through to approvals.

The role requires 1-3 years in land development or infrastructure construction, a Bachelor's in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred, and strong communication and Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years land development/infrastructure experience preferred.
• Experience with MUD (Municipal Utility District) preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager of Land Development on analyzing new land opportunities and performing due diligence on potential acquisitions.
• Support the creation, review, and maintenance of all due diligence property documents and reports, ensuring compliance with Camillo standards and notifying management of concerns and potential solutions.
• Assist in coordinating information sharing and work distribution among land development, acquisitions, and construction teams.
• Assist the Project Manager with administrative functions, including payroll processing and support, budgeting, budget tracking, and performance reporting.
• Assist with coordination among agencies for permitting, insurance, assurance, and close-out requirements.
