Legend Homes / Academy Development in Houston, TX is seeking an Assistant Development Manager to support the Project Manager with day-to-day land development activities, due diligence on acquisitions, budgeting, field observations, and development approvals.

The role requires 1–3 years in land development or infrastructure construction, with a bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Travel and collaboration across teams are essential to success.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of land development/infrastructure construction experience preferred; exposure to increasing levels of project oversight is a plus.
• Land experience preferred, including experience as a Land Analyst and familiarity with MUDs.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager of Land Development on analyzing new land opportunities and performing due diligence on potential acquisitions.
• Support the creation, review, and maintenance of all due diligence property documents and reports, ensuring compliance with Camillo standards.
• Assist in coordinating information sharing and work distribution among land development, acquisitions, and construction teams.
• Assist the Project Manager with administrative functions including payroll processing, budgeting, tracking, and field observations.
