Job summary

BrightView Landscapes LLC is seeking a Climber II to work in trees performing pruning, cabling, and removals as part of a tree care team. You will engage in canopy work and operate equipment to complete tasks safely and efficiently.

You must have strong physical stamina, read and follow safety instructions, and be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. EHAP/First-Aid/CPR certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow company procedures for roping and rigging
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions
• Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram or schedule form
• Ability to become certified in EHAP, First-Aid and CPR
• Strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate tree care operations such as pruning and limb removal on trees up to 100 feet tall
• Access a tree safely and move through canopy to remove branches and entire trees
• Operate powered equipment (chippers, trucks, blowers) safely
• Demonstrate intermediate to advanced chainsaw skills in ground and canopy work
• Use hand tools (saws, pruners, rakes, shovels) to perform tree care tasks
• Design and configure basic rigging systems for safe removal of branches and trees
• Wear PPE according to standards and company protocols
• Maintain a safe, organized work zone
• Implement plans to prevent property damage and personal injury during operations
