Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience operating asphalt transfer machines on commercial or highway projects.
• Must have reliable transportation for daily travel.

Responsibilities

• Operate asphalt transfer machines to move hot mix asphalt from trucks to pavers safely and efficiently.
• Monitor material flow to ensure consistent supply to paving operations.
• Adjust machine settings to maintain proper asphalt placement and minimize losses.
• Coordinate with truck drivers, paver operators, and crew for smooth workflow.
• Perform daily inspections, routine maintenance, and troubleshoot transfer equipment as needed.
• Report mechanical issues to supervisors promptly.
• Follow safety protocols including traffic control and hot mix handling procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
