Job summary

Blythe Construction, Inc. is seeking a Tack Truck Driver to safely operate our asphalt distributor on construction projects. The role requires a Class B CDL with a Tanker Endorsement, and involves loading oil, performing safety checks, and coordinating with the asphalt crew.

Expect to work day or night shifts, comply with USDOT/FMCSA regulations, and maintain the vehicle with proper DVIR documentation.

Qualifications

• Requires prior Tack Truck Driver experience (3–5 years).
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must understand work directions and communicate with supervisors.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work eight hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate asphalt distributor.
• Load tack truck oil and monitor oil temperature.
• Perform daily safety checks and pre/post trip DVIR.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of tack truck.
• Follow USDOT & FMCSA safety regulations.
• Assist asphalt crew and other crafts as needed.
• Work day or night shifts as required.
