Job summary

Magnum Paving Buyer LLC is seeking a Tack Truck Operator to safely operate an asphalt distributor truck and apply tack coat and related liquids per project specifications. This on-site role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, material handling, and coordination with the paving crew to ensure quality and efficiency. CDL may be required depending on vehicle assigned; overtime may be available.

Qualifications

• Experience operating an asphalt distributor or tack truck.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures for heavy equipment.
• Ability to read project specs and follow DOT/OSHA rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate an asphalt distributor truck to apply tack coat and other liquids.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment.
• Maintain records of materials used, loads and production.
• Coordinate with paving crew and supervisor to ensure proper timing and application.
