Job summary

VSS Emultech is seeking an Asphalt Rubber Blender Manager to lead daily blending operations at our West Sacramento facility. You will supervise blending staff, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with maintenance and quality control to meet production targets.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in asphalt production with leadership experience, and a strong grasp of blending processes, safety practices, and plant management systems.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of asphalt rubber materials and blending processes.
• Experience with safety regulations and environmental compliance for hot materials.
• Ability to read production schedules and equipment manuals.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across departments.
• Basic computer skills including production reporting and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee daily asphalt rubber blending operations to meet schedules.
• Supervise blending personnel and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Monitor blend formulations, temperatures, and production parameters for compliance.
• Coordinate with quality control to verify product consistency and actions.
• Oversee maintenance planning to minimize downtime and keep equipment running.
• Maintain production records and quality documentation accurately.
• Collaborate with management and dispatch for scheduling and customer service.
