Job summary

Central Stone Company in the St. Louis area is seeking an experienced Asphalt General Manager to oversee the safe, efficient operation of multiple asphalt plants.

Lead a high-performing team, drive production quality, manage customer relationships, and optimize plant performance while upholding OSHA/MSHA standards.

The role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of asphalt production experience with plant operations knowledge.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience.
• Understanding of OSHA/MSHA and DOT requirements.
• Strong financial and business acumen.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR; commercial license a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, efficient operation of asphalt plants in the St. Louis region.
• Develop operational strategy and optimize equipment and personnel.
• Hire, coach, and manage plant teams.
• Manage customer quotations and relationships.
• Coordinate cross-departmental demand and quality control.
