Preferred Materials - Asphalt Division, part of CRH South Division of Companies, is a leader in the production of high-quality hot mix and warm mix asphalt. The division offers design-build and conventional-bid-build solutions for roadway and civil construction projects. Headquartered in Tampa, Florida, with offices throughout Florida, it performs asphalt paving, grading, and related roadway services. We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician to join our team in South Florida, including the Orlando area. The candidate will need to travel within South Florida to various asphalt facilities, with some travel to North and Central regions.
The Quality Control Technician will perform routine testing of Hot Mix Asphalt and assist in adjusting plant settings to ensure compliance with job or agency specifications.
Preferred but not required: At least six months of asphalt quality control experience and FDOT Asphalt Level I & II training.
The duties described are not exhaustive and may be supplemented.
