Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• VDOT Asphalt Plant Technician certification required.
• Other state certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Sample asphalt product to ensure it meets required tests.
• Coordinate daily/weekly scheduling with management, plant personnel and crew.
• Ensure quality control specifications are met and attend to daily production schedules/estimates.
• Evaluate test results and address problems as they arise.
• Maintain PPE and safety standards per OSHA guidelines.
