Century Concrete, Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a Quality Control Asphalt Lab Technician certified by VDOT to join our construction team in Clearbrook, VA. You will conduct asphalt mix tests, analyze results, and ensure products meet specifications.

This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and timely documentation. You’ll operate lab equipment, record data, and collaborate with crews to support efficient, high-quality paving projects across our operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree or technical certification in Heavy Equipment Maintenance a plus.
• Minimum 3-6 months of hands-on experience with heavy equipment maintenance.
• ASE certifications and a valid CDL (A or B) preferred; clean driving record is a strong asset.
• Have basic hand tools and sockets up to 1/2 inch.

Responsibilities

• Perform critical inspections, maintenance, and repairs on heavy equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and deliver effective solutions for reliability.
• Dismantle, rebuild, and maintain equipment using advanced tools.
• Maintain precise records of time and parts used.
