Job summary

West Virginia Paving, Inc., a CRH company, seeks a Quality Assurance leader to manage the companywide Quality Control Program, lab quality system, training, and QA staff to ensure hot mix asphalt and component materials meet specifications. This role may include night and weekend work and requires limited supervision.

The successful candidate will collect and analyze production data, drive improvements, lead the QA team, and participate in pre-construction meetings with project teams to maintain

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of related experience required.
• HMA plant/paving technician classification preferred.
• Knowledge of asphalt plant operations, safety, environment, and transportation.
• Ability to detect hazards and respond appropriately.
• Certified Radiation Safety Officer or willing to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage collection and analysis of HMA production and construction data.
• Develop and implement quality programs and procedures.
• Lead the Quality Control team and supervise staff.
• Attend pre-construction meetings with project teams.
• Investigate reports of low-quality work and propose resolutions.
• Serve as Company RSO officer.
• Engage with WV HMA committee as needed.
