Knife River Corporation - Mountain West in Boise, ID is seeking a maintenance technician to inspect, repair and maintain asphalt plant equipment. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and perform preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.

The role requires at least 5 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel. Millwright and asphalt-plant experience are preferred. Training available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience.
• Mechanical, electrical and fabrication experience required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Millwright experience preferred.
• Experience with asphalt plants preferred.
• Must meet company attendance policy.

Responsabilités

• Inspect, maintain, and repair asphalt plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance: lubrication, belt/tension, filters, components.
• Diagnose failures and implement timely corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Maintain burners and fuel systems; tune and clean for optimal performance.
• Weld and fabricate as needed.
• Read manuals, schematics and drawings; follow safety procedures.
• Coordinate with plant operators and management to identify maintenance needs.
