Qualifications

• 5+ years of related construction field experience.
• Basic math skills and ability to perform measurements.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to lead a crew.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate asphalt plant activities.
• Communicate daily workload and priorities.
• Facilitate scheduling of liquids, aggregate and plant start-up.
• Communicate with customers on daily demands and scheduling.
• Complete required daily production logs and time sheets.
• Lead crew in safety culture and maintain a safe working environment.
• Work with the asphalt Superintendent to follow job-specific instructions.
• Supervise/train/coaching of personnel to complete daily duties.
• Coordinate with QC to ensure quality daily output.
• Supervise equipment operators and laborers to ensure safe, correct work.
• Perform duties of equipment operator and laborer when needed.
• Maintain equipment, report safety/mechanical issues to shop.
