Job summary

Allan Myers is seeking a motivated individual to join our asphalt production crew. You will operate automated drum and batch plant systems, support quality control, and help maintain safe, productive work during large-scale heavy civil projects across the Mid-Atlantic.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic mechanical skills and basic knowledge of computers are required.
• Experience with mobile or stationary equipment is beneficial.
• Experience in manufacturing or construction industries is beneficial.
• Physical demands may be heavy; PPE and safety precautions are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate asphalt plant – automated drum and batch plant systems.
• Communicate with quality control personnel to ensure specifications are met and adjust mix formulas accordingly.
• Monitor plant status, load materials, and dispatch trucks.
• Coordinate with paving crews, project teams, and customers to optimize production and profitability.
• Maintain safety and participate in safety discussions.
• Plan daily production and manage raw material orders.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Operate additional equipment as needed and perform pre-shift inspections.
