Job summary

Allan Myers is seeking a motivated individual to join an asphalt production crew at a major Mid-Atlantic facility. You will operate automated drum and batch plant systems, coordinate with quality control, and prepare loads for trucks while keeping safety a priority.

Experience with CAT loaders and material handling is a plus. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth as you expand skill sets and contribute to on-time project delivery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic mechanical skills and basic knowledge of computers.
• Mobile or stationary equipment experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate asphalt plant – automated drum and batch systems.
• Communicate with quality control to meet specs and adjust mix formulas.
• Monitor plant status, load material, and dispatch trucks.
• Coordinate with internal crews and external customers to maximize profits and maintain quality.
• Ensure a safe working environment and participate in safety discussions.
• Plan production for following day and document activities.
• Assist in preventative maintenance and operate equipment as needed.
