Job summary

Western Rock Products, a CRH Company, is seeking an Asphalt Plant Operator in Utah to manage daily plant operations and maintain equipment. You will coordinate inbound materials with the production foreperson, Quality Control, and Plant Manager, ensuring efficiency and safety.

The role requires 1–3 years of related experience or training, the ability to perform strenuous work in varying weather, and a commitment to OSHA/MSHA safety standards. Pre-employment screening is mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and criminal background check.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow OSHA/MSHA safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain plant equipment and perform routine/preventive tasks.
• Schedule inbound materials; communicate with foreperson and Plant Manager.
• Train less-experienced staff on operations and repairs.
