Job summary

Preferred Materials, Asphalt Division, part of CRH Southeast Division, is the leader in production of high-quality hot mix and warm mix asphalt, and offers design-build and conventional-bid-build solutions for roadway projects. An Asphalt Plant Laborer will perform general duties at an asphalt plant including shoveling, moving materials, and maintaining housekeeping while following safety rules.

Experience with asphalt or construction equipment is preferred. Shift differential may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds and perform basic plant tasks.
• Maintain reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
• Experience with loader/backhoe equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general asphalt plant duties: shoveling, moving materials, and maintaining clean, safe work area per regulations.
