Job summary

Russell Standard is seeking a Plant Operator to support the day‑to‑day operation of our asphalt emulsions plant in the United States. The role involves loading emulsion trucks, operating equipment, performing basic preventive maintenance, and following safety policies to ensure quality production.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, solid math and reading skills, and 2 years of production/maintenance experience or related industry exposure.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Solid math and reading skills, and the ability to understand technical manuals.
• Two (2) years production/maintenance experience OR oil and gas industry experience OR completion of mechanical/industrial trade school program.
• Aptitude for learning new tasks and skills.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes valves for product transfers.
• Performs general preventative maintenance of pump and valve systems.
• Operates equipment.
• Inspects tanks periodically.
• Troubleshoots mechanics of plant systems.
• Weighs trucks, pre- and post-loading.
• Loads emulsion trucks.
• General Labor
• Follows all safety policies and practices.
• All other duties as assigned.
