Barriere Construction, a CRH Company, seeks an Asphalt Plant Equipment Operator in Franklinton, LA. You will operate loaders, lifts and forklifts, move materials, load trucks and support plant operations under safety standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of road/construction outdoors experience, is reliable, physically fit, and able to work outside in all weather conditions. Barriere offers competitive wages and comprehensive benefits through CRH.

Qualifications

• Must have experience operating heavy equipment on outdoor road/construction sites.
• Reliability and ability to work outside in varying weather.
• Good physical condition required (lift up to 50 lbs., push/pull up to 70 lbs).
• At least 1 year of outdoors road/construction field experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate front end loader, manlift and forklift safely.
• Move and stockpile materials and load trucks.
• Fuel, lubricate and clean equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Assist with plant fillings and hopper tasks and ensure data accuracy.
