Barriere Construction is seeking Plant Equipment Operators to join the North Shore Asphalt team in Franklinton, Louisiana. The role involves operating heavy equipment at one of the state's largest asphalt plants to support infrastructure and construction projects.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Front End Loader, ManLift and Fork Lift.
• Strong math skills and computer knowledge.
• Ability to analyze data.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 70 lbs.
• Reliability and ability to work outdoors
• Good physical condition
• Minimum 1 year experience in road or construction outdoors
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme conditions (cold, heat, humidity)
• Observe all safety protocols

Barriere Construction is seeking Plant Equipment Operators to join their North Shore Asphalt team in Franklinton, Louisiana. This role involves operating heavy equipment at one of the state’s largest asphalt plants, supporting infrastructure and construction projects. The ideal candidates are reliable, physically fit, and experienced with loaders and other plant equipment, ready to work outdoors in varying conditions.

What You’ll Need

• Experience operating a Front End Loader, ManLift & Fork Lift
• Computer knowledge and strong mathematical skills
• Ability to analyze data
• Ability to move and stockpile materials, fuel and lubricate equipment, clean loader, load trucks, and fill hoppers
• Reliability and ability to work outside
• Good physical condition
• Minimum 1 year experience in road or construction field working outdoors
