Job summary

Reeves Construction Company seeks an Asphalt Plant Maintenance Technician to support the Duncan, SC region and surrounding Piedmont plants. The role focuses on safe operation, preventive maintenance, and timely equipment repairs to keep production running smoothly.

The ideal candidate will have welding experience (Stick/MIG), basic mechanical knowledge, and a readiness to work outdoors in all weather. This position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Stick welding: 1 year required.
• MIG welding: 1 year preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year preferred.
• Experience in aggregate or construction industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety at all times in accordance with OSHA and Reeves standards.
• Repair and maintain plant equipment, including conveyors and crushers.
• Inspect equipment daily for safe, reliable operation.
• Document service and lubrication reports for plant equipment.
• Monitor plant processes to ensure safety and compliance.
• Handle and move parts and tools safely.
• Perform general physical activities as required.
