Job summary

Russell Standard in Greensboro, NC, is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician focused on plant equipment and property maintenance. The role may also serve as a plant operator and truck loader as needed.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, valves, and production equipment, interpret manuals, ensure safety, and work with teams in an outdoor emulsions plant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and completion of a trade program
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Well-established organizational skills with strong attention to detail, record-keeping, and communication skills
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
• Must be willing and able to perform plant operator and maintenance duties

Responsibilities

• Perform diversified maintenance to keep plant equipment running
• Perform preventative maintenance of pump and valve systems
• Provide emergency repairs of production equipment
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, and test repairs
• Operate and maintain various tools, meters, and handling equipment
• Assist with plant operator duties including transfers and loading
• Maintain safe, clean work areas and report anomalies
• All other duties as assigned
