Reeves Construction Company in Savannah, GA is seeking an experienced Asphalt Plant Operator at the Reeves - Carroll Asphalt Plant. You will operate plant controls, weigh and deliver aggregates and asphalt cement to the dryer and mixer, and maintain proper heat and material flow.

The role requires 2+ years of plant operator experience, strong safety awareness, ability to multitask, good communication, and willingness to work evenings or overtime.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of plant operator experience.
• Strong verbal, written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent safety awareness and adherence to policies.
• Reliable transportation and preferred valid driver’s license.
• Ability to perform basic math for material quantities.
• Must provide legal right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain asphalt plant and equipment.
• Determine quantities of materials needed for asphalt production.
• Adjust controls to regulate material flow.
• Maintain proper plant temperatures and system speeds.
• Conduct sit e inspections and correct unsafe conditions.
• Complete plant reports and document in computer system.
• Supervise plant staff and train as needed.
• Ensure safe traffic flow around the plant.
