Asphalt Paving Machine Screed Operator - Austin Bridge & Road

Austin Bridge & Road is currently seeking experienced Asphalt Paving Machine Screed Operators for asphalt projects across North Texas. We are committed to excellence and are looking for talented construction professionals to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily equipment maintenance and inspections
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure the screed is clean and properly adjusted for each shift
• Monitor and adjust temperature settings
• Adjust paving reference components to project specifications
• Maintain proper contact between gates and the paving surface
• Adjust endgate springs and chains for clearance
• Troubleshoot and make necessary adjustments during paving
• Assist with site preparation and other tasks as needed
• Participate in safety meetings and follow safety policies
• Work flexible hours, including days, nights, and weekends
• Work in adverse weather conditions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience operating asphalt equipment
• Strong commitment to jobsite safety
• Legally authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship available)
