Job summary

Ajax Paving Industries, Inc. is seeking a Laborer in Fort Myers, FL to support handwork on paving projects under the foreman and crew. You will ensure quality handwork, proper drainage, and accurate joints while assisting with prep, paving, cleanup, and finishing operations on site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain consistent quality, texture in handwork.
• Maintain proper drainage of handwork areas.
• Assure all joints are properly matched.
• Cuts, removes and straightedges all butt joints.
• Maintain cut off saw in safe operating condition.
• Assure overall job drainage.
• Assist in handwork, prep work and cleanup as directed by foreman.
• Keep compaction personnel informed when handwork areas are ready for compaction.
• Performs all functions as directed by foreman or lead operator in conjunction with preparation, layout, cleaning, paving, compaction, and finishing operations.
