Asphalt and Aggregate Sales Representative

Job Summary

The Asphalt and Aggregate Sales Representative is responsible for all sales activities including lead generation, quotes, and field support in the assigned territory. This individual will manage their assigned territory and achieve annual personal and business goals assigned by the company. The Sales Representative will work within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction and revenue generation, in line with CalPortland’s vision and values.

Compensation

$80,000 - $95,000 DOE

Responsibilities

• Safety certification (OSHA/MSHA) preferred

Requirements/Qualifications

• Industry experience preferred
• Ability to speak and think on your feet, and in front of groups
• Clean driving record and owns vehicle

Preferred:

• Experience with public entities (state, county, city governments, etc.)
• Background in construction and/or manufacturing of construction products

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) registration/clearance as well as ongoing alcohol and drug testing. For work that will be performed in the San Francisco area, qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records will be considered for employment.
