Job summary

Venturi Supply, a national network of distributors for pipe, valves, fittings, tanks, and industrial supplies, seeks a Welder in the Fort Worth area. You will fabricate components, read engineered prints, and select weld methods to meet procedures.

The role requires MIG or Flux Core welding experience and ASME IX certification. You will work from engineered drawings, perform welds in multiple positions, and help maintain safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• GMAW or FCAW ASME IX certified required; GTAW ASME IX preferred.
• 1+ year MIG or Flux Core welding experience; TIG a plus.
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings, including welding symbols.

Responsibilities

• Operates welding equipment to fabricate components and assemblies.
• Reads blueprints and drawings to build fabrications.
• Determine the appropriate welding method based on procedures.
• Lay out components with tight tolerances per drawings.
• Welds in various positions; may include NDE such as X-ray, PT, MT, UT.
• Inspects welds and repair flaws by cutting/grinding.
• Maintain equipment and keep a clean work area.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
