Job summary

VIP Staffing is seeking a skilled Pipe Welder in Irving, Texas to join our manufacturing team. You will perform MIG, TIG, flux-core, or stick welding on pipes and structural steel, following ASME and API codes and ensuring high quality and safety.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of MIG and TIG welding experience, reads blueprints, and can fabricate fittings and pipes per drawings. Weekend and overtime availability may be required; weekly pay and benefits follow after 60 days.

Qualifications

• 3+ years MIG/TIG welding experience.
• Experience welding pipes and structural steel.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, flux-core, or stick welding on pipes and structural steel 1" to 48" in diameter, following ASME and API codes.
• Fabricate finished metal products, including fittings and pipes, per drawings and specifications.
• Position and secure workpieces, using proper tools and equipment for welding.
• Conduct weld tests and inspections to ensure weld quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety protocols.
