Job summary

River Bend Industries LLC is seeking a skilled welder to perform code welding in accordance with ASME Sec VIII, including X-ray and UT nondestructive examinations. The role requires familiarity with GMAW, FCAW and SAW welding processes and building ASME pressure vessels from drawings and calculations.

Strong adherence to safety and quality standards is essential. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of code welding experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to interpret blueprints, welding

Qualifications

• Must pass code welding certification.
• Follow safety procedures to maintain zero-accident goal.
• Read and understand blueprints and welding symbols.
• Ability to use measuring and leveling devices.
• Set up and run nozzle welds, 6G.
• Set up and run piping welds, 6G.
• Ability to perform RT and UT weld repairs.
• Meet production scheduled hours.
• Support Manufacturing Engineering and Lean initiatives.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary working environment.

Responsibilities

• Pass code welding certification as required.
• Read blueprints and welding symbols for fabrication.
• Set up nozzle welds and perform 6G welding.
• Set up piping welds and perform 6G welding.
• Perform RT and UT weld repairs as needed, documenting results.
• Maintain equipment and safety compliance at all times.
