Job summary

Core Group is seeking a dedicated QA/QC Manager with extensive ASME pressure vessel fabrication experience to lead quality assurance initiatives on the shop floor. The role requires hands-on leadership to enforce ASME codes and drive a culture of accountability within a highly structured environment.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of QA/QC experience in ASME pressure vessel fabrication.
• Strong knowledge of ASME Sections VIII, V, IX, welding processes, PWHT, and NDT methods.
• Experience in a fabrication shop environment with hands-on quality oversight.
• Proven ability to enforce standards and drive accountability for quality.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Preferred certification: CWI (Certified Welding Inspector).
• Experience with carbon steels and nickel alloys is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC activities for ASME pressure vessel fabrication.
• Enforce ASME code compliance and internal QC procedures.
• Oversee inspection procedures including NDT, dimensional checks, hydro testing, and weld verification.
• Ensure accurate project documentation and turnover packages.
