Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead QA/QC in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment with emphasis on ASME/AWS standards, welding quality, inspection and regulatory compliance.

The role oversees QA from raw materials to finished products and builds a high‑performing quality assurance team. 5+ years in manufacturing QA, a B.S. in Engineering, and strong process improvement skills are required; CWI certification is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• AWS CWI and/or CRI certification is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ASME/AWS standards and welding QC.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and implementation of quality control procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Lead QA team in inspections and tests of raw materials and finished products.
• Collaborate with departments to prevent defects and improve product quality.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Monitor QA systems' performance and report to senior management.
• Provide training to enhance QA team knowledge and skills.
