Job summary

Sorenson Communications, LLC is seeking interpreters to provide Sign-to-Voice and Voice-to-Sign interpreting services in Westminster, CO. Part-time positions available with shifts Monday–Saturday, 7am–7pm MT and at least 10 interpreting hours per month.

Premium shifts can boost hourly wages; opportunities for CEUs, annual certification testing, licensure reimbursement, and 401K with employer contributions are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
• Interpreter certification as required by local regulations.
• 3 years’ interpreter experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated, customer-focused environment.
• Ability to pass required skills assessment.

Responsibilities

• Interprete effectively between ASL and spoken English.
• Maintain compliance with licensure/certification requirements.
• Comply with Sorenson standards, FCC regulations, and RID Code of Conduct.
• Adhere to attendance policy and complete tasks promptly.
• Maintain flexibility to meet VRS industry demands.
• Collaborate with team and support colleagues as needed.
