Convo Communications is seeking an HR Generalist, Payroll & Operations to manage US/Canada payroll, HR processes, and People Operations support for our global team. You will ensure accurate payroll for salaried, hourly, and Video Interpreter personnel while upholding HR policy guidance and compliance.

Preferred candidates are based in or near Austin with flexibility for occasional onsite support and remote work across the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL with Deaf culture understanding and ability to communicate payroll/HR matters.
• 3+ years HR, payroll, or related field experience.
• Experience with multi-state US payroll, compliance, and wage/hour rules.

Responsabilités

• Oversee US and Canada payroll administration for salaried and hourly employees.
• Process payroll transactions including bonuses, commissions, and off-cycle payments.
• Maintain payroll deductions and remittances; coordinate with Benefits & Leave team.
• Ensure accuracy of HRIS data and payroll reporting for decision support.
• Provide HR policy guidance and respond to routine employee relations matters.
